For years I followed a self-imposed policy of never mentioning the Russian Baseball Federation (RBF) on this website. The RBF, that commands little respect in our own country and, most importantly, among Russian ballplayers, has been in my opinion the main cause of everything what's bad with our game. Why hurt the image of Russian baseball?

But can't do it anymore, because I believe the future of the great game of baseball here is in jeopardy. To help clean our sport, I have to speak out.
