Sultan of Swat: Petr Koptyukh Hits 11th Career Home Run

With a two-run blast in the second inning of the May 23rd game against RusStar, VVIA's right fielder Petr Koptyukh have passed over Alexandr Bogatyrev as the Russian League's all-time home run leader.
Koptyukh, a 24-year old native of Nizhny Novgorod, tied Bogatyrev's mark of 10 HRs last year, hitting league-leading four homers.
His record-breaking 11th long ball came in the first game of a doubleheader on Sunday, when he connected on the first pitch from Alexandr Muratov.
