| Number nine hitter Oleg Dolmatov went 5-for-7 with two doubles and a triple as SKV banged out 28 hits to beat MGU in a high scorer. The 28 hits in a game are the most by any team over the last three years.
Dolmatov, Dmitri Golubev and Andrei Starov each drove in four runs. Starov had four hits in five at-bats and leads SKV with a .520 average. Dmitri Lukin also went 4-for-5 and is hitting .514. Journeyman Yury Ershov had two hits off the bench to extend his hitting streak to five games. He is 7-for-10 for the season. Trailing 22-7 in the middle of the 7th, MGU avoided a knockout with a six-run outburst, highlighted by Dmitri Lukjanchikov's three-run triple off reliever Alexandr Krupenchenkov.
