| Right-hander Andrei Muratov (1-0) pitched six solid innings as SKV moved into first place with an 11-8 victory against Moskvich at the SKA-29 stadium.
Muratov, in his first game with the SKV ballclub, gave up four runs on nine hits, walked three and struck out six to improve his career record to 11-11. Leading 5-4 after six innings, SKV finally got to Moskvich's starter Andrei Anashkin (1-1) in the 7th. Dmitri Lukin led off with a single up the middle, took second on a wild pitch and scored on Dmitri Golubev's triple to left center. Pinch-hitter Roman Rozhkov followed with an RBI single, chasing Anashkin. After Oleg Korneev relieved, Igor Makhambetov doubled to center to make it 8-4. Makhambetov singled home two more runs in the 8th and finished with four ribbies in his first game of the season. Moskvich batted around against reliever Andrei Bogatyrev in the final frame, but fell short as left fielder Artem Lyubivy left three men on base, striking out on a full-count fastball for the final out. |
